Additional Context: The Positive Youth Engagement (PYE) program was an initiative aimed at transforming vulnerable Palestinian youth into productive, engaged citizens who actively contribute to their communities. By increasing opportunities for education, leadership, and economic participation, PYE empowered youth to realize their full potential and play a central role in social and economic development. The program was terminated. "The PYE Program was my only escape from the crushing weight of war and displacement. It gave me the strength to keep going, to care for my children when I barely had the energy to care for myself. The psychological support point was more than a safe space—it was my only source of hope. I rushed to finish my chores just to get there, to breathe, to be heard. Seeing my children laugh, learn, and heal made me believe things could get better. Now, it’s all gone. My children lost their only refuge, and I lost my only source of support.”- Mother/Caretaker Participant, Gaza.
