Additional Context: Beginning in 2021, Mercy Corps partnered with the World Food Programme and others on the USDA-funded Food for Education and Child Nutrition Programme in Nepal. Mercy Corps helped build a cash-based school feeding model to enable schools to procure nutritious food directly from local producers. The program was terminated.
