Additional Context: In 2025, the loss of USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance funding for 70% of existing protection and gender-based violence (GBV) activities resulted in the closure of 22 women and girls safe spaces, community centers, and integrated safe spaces. Related initiatives working on GBV and reproductive healthcare were similarly shuttered due to these cuts. Areas particularly affected were in Yemen's northern governorates such as Al Hodeidah, Hajjah, Raymah, and Sana’a.

This ACAPS report relies on a secondary data review and key informant interviews (KIIs). The secondary data review analysed 52 reports, datasets, and literature from humanitarian responders, academic and research institutes, and media. Six KIIs complemented this review to assess the availability of and access to integrated GBV and reproductive health services and approaches.
