The program implemented as part of the Feed the Future initiative in Nepal, which was supposed to continue into 2028 with a budget of $24.5 million, supported farmers in selecting and purchasing seeds through technical training and subsidies. These subsidies were essential for the income of many rural farmers. She expressed uncertainty about her future after the loss of this program.
